In 2003, the BBC did a survey to find the United Kingdom’s best loved book of all-time. The results are below.
I would like to complete all the books on this list but I know I will not read every single book on this list because I’m either really not interested in it or I flat-out refuse to put myself through the experience of reading it (i.e. American Psycho).
Books I’ve completed will be struck through like so.
Books I will not be reading will be marked with a * * and struck through *like so*.
Books I’ve read but think I need to re-read to consider them completed are in italics.
Books I’ve read when I was younger but don’t want to re-read will be in italics, marked with * * and struck through *like so*.
