TBR Takedown 5.0 | TBR

,

It’s time for yet another readathon – this time there’s another round of TBR Takedown. TBR Takedown is hosted by Shannon from leaninglights (her YouTube & Twitter) and this round, TBR Takedown 5.0, will start at midnight on Monday 6th February and run through until 11:59pm on Sunday 12th. There are a series of challenges to try to complete but it’s mostly low-key, which is exactly how I like my readathons. For more information, or to read/tweet along once it gets started, see the readathon Twitter.

I’ve previously participated in TBR Takedown and thoroughly enjoyed it, with varying degrees of “success” in the attempts, but everyone loves a trier, right? The readathon should hopefully be the extra push needed to get me to prioritise reading this upcoming week, and to finish off some books and/or make significant progress with them because they’re way too long for me to think I could actually finish them in a week – more on that in a moment.

I’m very indecisive which is why I struggle to set TBRs and actually stick to them, but for the sake of argument, I’ll probably (I’m like 80-85% sure) be reading some of the following books in order to complete the readathon challenges:

I’m currently in the middle of reading both The Queen of the Tearling and War and Peace and I’m listening to the audiobook of Lirael for my re-read of the Old Kingdom trilogy on my train ride to/from work. So it’s highly likely I’ll be prioritising these books anyway, so might as well join in with readathon challenges at the same time! I will hopefully be posting daily updates periodically but, if not, I’ll definitely update via Goodreads and Twitter so please do add me/say hi if you frequent either of those sites.

Are you participating in TBR Takedown this upcoming week? If so, please do pop into the comments and let me know what you’re planning on reading!
